KitchenAid - Zulu Alpha Kilo

This happened a while ago, but I created some custom timelapses for KitchenAid that got picked up by AdWeek and AdAge!

The story: To show off the 32 different available colours for the KitchenAid Mixer, the agency (Zulu Alpha Kilo) hired me to capture the billboard on the Gardiner Expressway from the Dufferin Gate Bridge vantage point to show off the colours synced up to the CN Tower’s colour.

Every night for four weeks a camera would detect the colour of the CN Tower and then display a corresponding mixer. As drivers were heading into the city they would see just a picture of the iconic mixer and a KitchenAid logo framed beside the CN tower. This simple yet effective ad tied the billboard and mixer to the most recognizable structure in Toronto This campaign was picked up by several online publications including AdWeek and AdAge.
